This club is dedicated to the people out there who love being Straight Edge.
What is Straight Edge?
A religion? Nope. Some kind of freaky cult? Nope. Straight Edge is a movement that’s been around since the 80’s as a rebellion to the punk rock/hardcore music scene that was all about doing drugs and getting wasted.
Straight Edger’s (sXe for short) are almost the exact opposite of what you’d expect punk fan’s to be like.
With Straight Edge there’s no official rules, it’s more about working out what the negative factors in your life are and working out how you can deal with them.
What is this club focused on?
This club is focused on personal expressions of photography, poetry and prose and learning to deal with negativity that may surround them.
Workshop
If you have any expressive photography, poem's or prose you would like help with, or suggestions on how to improve it, just not us with a link and we will put you under this heading.
Your writing will be displayed for three days, after that it will taken down.
The Workshop is NOW UP! anyone who would like work to be posted note us with the heading "workshop"

so none of u have ever drank, done drugs or had sex? BE HONEST!
if u have u CANT be straight edge! why claim to be somethign your not? why boast about being edge and not doing any of the 3, why not just be content with youself and know u dnt do the 3? do u have to publicise the fact? if couldnt give it your all from the start of your life, dnt claim to be straight edge now and dnt become edge or claim to be edge beacuse its the 'in' thing.
im a chrisitan(even know the 2 arent linked)... i dnt do drugs or drink or have sex. but im not claiming to be edge. i did drink when i was yonger and before i was a christian. i couldnt stay strong my whole life so im not gonna claim to be straight edge now. and how long do u expect to be edge? you do know its a life long thing? not just till it goes outta fashion.
I have done drugs, smoked, had casual sex, but i wanted to rid my life of that crap. So i decided to turn straight edge.
Just because you dont do it, does not mean your straight edge. Its a personal choice.
How long do you expect to be christian? Your whole life or until it goes out of fashion!

You say that if they have smoked, drank or had CASUAL sex they can't be sXe...yet you claim to have been a non-christian before you became christian. The fact is that NOW they are sXe. Its their choice. I'm not sXe. I don't want to be. I'm a 'true-school' punk. I drink, i've smoked, and if the opportunity occurs i partake in casual sex. But i respect those that are sXe for their choice.
you do know its a life long thing? not just till it goes outta fashion. People grow. People change. Deal with it.
